This Day With God

As we begin this new day, let us take a moment to reflect on the gift that it is. Every morning, we are given a fresh start, a chance to begin again and make the most of the time we have been given.

In Psalm 118:24, we read, "This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it." Let us choose to approach this day with joy and gratitude, recognizing that it is a gift from our loving Heavenly Father.

As we go about our daily activities, let us remember to keep our eyes fixed on God. Let us seek to honor Him in all that we do, and to bring glory to His name. As what the Bible says:

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Matthew 6:33 KJV

In Proverbs 3:6, we are reminded to "acknowledge Him in all our ways." Let us make a conscious effort to do so today, recognizing that God is always with us and that He desires to guide us in all that we do.

As we face the challenges and uncertainties of this day, let us remember that we are not alone. God is with us, and He is our rock, our refuge, and our strength.

In Psalm 46:1-2, we read, "God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea."

Let us choose to trust in God's goodness and sovereignty today, even when we do not understand what is happening. Let us remember that He is always working for our good, even when we cannot see it.

In Romans 8:28, we are reminded that "in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." Let us hold onto this promise today, and let it bring us comfort and peace.

As we interact with others today, let us remember to treat them with kindness, compassion, and love. Let us seek to be a blessing to those around us, and to bring joy and encouragement to those we meet.

In Matthew 22:37-40, Jesus reminds us that the second greatest commandment is to "love your neighbor as yourself." Let us make a conscious effort to do so today, recognizing that everyone we meet is a precious child of God.

As we go about our daily tasks, let us remember to work with diligence and integrity. Let us seek to do our best in all that we do, recognizing that we are ultimately working for God and not for man.

In Colossians 3:23-24, we are reminded to "whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord rather than for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ." See also 1 Corinthians 10:31.

Let us make a conscious effort to work with excellence and integrity today, recognizing that our work is a reflection of our love and devotion to God.

As we face the temptations and challenges of this day, let us remember to seek God's help and guidance. Let us cry out to Him for strength and wisdom, recognizing that we are weak and helpless without Him.

In Psalm 121:1-2, we read, "I lift up my eyes to the mountains—where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth."

Let us lift our eyes to God today, recognizing that He is our help and our salvation. Let us seek to trust in Him completely, and to rely on His strength and wisdom in all that we do.

As we go about our daily activities, let us remember to take time to rest and refresh ourselves. Let us seek to prioritize our physical and emotional well-being, recognizing that we are not machines and that we need to take care of ourselves.

In Matthew 11:28-30, Jesus invites us to "come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls."

Let us make a conscious effort to prioritize rest and self-care today, recognizing that we need to take care of ourselves in order to serve God and others effectively.

As we face the unknowns and uncertainties of this day, let us remember to trust in God's sovereignty and goodness. Let us seek to rest in His love and care, recognizing that He is always with us and that He will never leave us or forsake us.

In Deuteronomy 31:6, we read, "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."

Let us make a conscious effort to trust in God's presence and guidance today, recognizing that He is always with us and that He will never leave us or forsake us.

As we go about our daily activities, let us remember to seek God's guidance and wisdom. Let us ask Him to give us discernment and insight, that we might make wise decisions and choices.

In James 1:5, we read, "If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you."

Let us make a conscious effort to seek God's wisdom and guidance today, recognizing that He is the source of all wisdom and knowledge.

As we seek to follow God's guidance and wisdom, let us remember to be patient and to trust in His timing. Let us recognize that His ways are not our ways, and that He often works in mysterious and unexpected ways. (The ways the Lord work are better than ours).

In Isaiah 40:31, we read, "But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."

Let us make a conscious effort to trust in God's timing and to hope in Him, recognizing that He is our strength and our salvation.

As we face the challenges and uncertainties of this day, let us remember to seek God's presence and comfort. Let us recognize that He is our rock and our refuge, and that He is always with us.

In Psalm 46:1-2, we read, "God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea."

Let us make a conscious effort to seek God's presence and comfort today, recognizing that He is our rock and our refuge.

As we seek to serve God and to follow His guidance, let us remember to be humble and to recognize our dependence on Him. Let us recognize that we are not capable of accomplishing anything on our own, but that we need God's strength and guidance to accomplish His will.

In 1 Corinthians 15:10, we read, "But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them—yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me."

Let us make a conscious effort to recognize our dependence on God and to be humble, recognizing that it is His grace and strength that enable us to accomplish anything.

As we face the opportunities and challenges of this day, let us remember to seek God's guidance and wisdom. Let us recognize that He is our Shepherd and our Guide, and that He desires to lead us and to direct us.

In Psalm 23:1-2, we read, "The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters."

Let us make a conscious effort to seek God's guidance and wisdom today, recognizing that He is our Shepherd and our Guide.

As we seek to follow God's guidance and wisdom, let us remember to be obedient and to follow His commands. Let us recognize that His ways are not our ways, and that He often calls us to do things that are difficult or uncomfortable. See Isaiah 55:7,8

In John 14:15, we read, "If you love me, keep my commandments."

Let us make a conscious effort to be obedient and to follow God's commands, recognizing that this is an expression of our love for Him. See Romans 13:10

As we face the challenges and uncertainties of this day, let us remember to seek God's presence and comfort. Let us recognize that He is our rock and our refuge, and that He is always with us.

In Deuteronomy 31:6, we read, "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."

Let us make a conscious effort to seek God's presence and comfort today, recognizing that He is our rock and our refuge.

May God bless and guide you today, and may you experience His presence and power in all that you do. May you seek to follow His guidance and wisdom, and may you be obedient to His commands. May you experience His comfort and presence, and may you be filled with His joy and peace.

Thismessage is entitled "This Day with God," and it is our prayer that you will seek to spend this day with God, and that you will experience His presence and power in all that you do. May God bless you and guide you today.

Amen.
